Her friend also got taken...her son got involved and is working to keep this off his mother's account as well....Discover is pretty good but know that the dispute process will be messy
Anxious to know of how other folks fared in getting these costs off the credit card...suspect we lucked out since we caught it early
Have contacted the local paper that carries this crap...and will be filing a complaint with the BBB tomorrow

| 4. Written by Mandi on October 12, 2011 from north canton, ohio, US Dwm1034, If you would contact me I would be happy to assist you with this matter. We can discuss what steps will need to be taken to begin resolving this for your mother if she wishes to cancel the order. It sounds like she responsed to one of our advertisements and called to place an order with us. The sales associate would have described the offer to her and provided the purchase price. At that point your mother could have accepted or declined the offer. In order to complete the sale she would have also had to provide her credit card information, which clearly was in her possesion, and consented to the charges. If for some reason you believe that she is not or was not capable of making financial decisions such as these at the time she made the purchase we will certainly work with you to come to an agreeable solution. I believe I have located your mother's order and her credit card has not actually been charged. The transaction you are referring to was our sales rep verifying that there were enough funds available on the card for the purchase. The card is not actually charged until the product ships out. I have placed the order on hold for now until we can speak so the card will not be charged. I can be reached at 330-244-4121 or at Thanks! Mandi Snyder, Executive Assistant |
